Instructions for Eligibility Case:-

The students from CBSE, NIOS, H.S.C. Boards other than Maharashtra State, Dip. Ed. and Degree from other than University of Mumbai will have to obtain the Eligibility Certificate which will be issued online after approval from Eligibility Unit, Room No. 108 (A), Institute of Distance and Open Learning, Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Bhavan, Vidyanagari, Santacruz (E), Mumbai-98,
The student should download their Eligibility Form online after application for admission and submit the same and show all original certificates in Room no 108 first floor, IDOL, University of Mumbai Kalina Campus.
Required documents for obtaining eligibility certificate:
H.S.C. and onwards all examination (F.Y., S.Y. & T.Y)
Proof of Date of Birth
Migration / Transference Certificate
Passing/Convocation / Degree Certificate
Marriage Certificate/Gazette Notification (For female married students)
Fees for eligibility case:
Document Verification fees of Rs.400/- will be charged from UG programme students who have passed their Board/University Examinations from other than Maharashtra State Higher Secondary Board and University of Mumbai (Only for Eligibility Case).
Eligibility fees of Rs 220/- for the students who have passed their examination from Maharashtra state Universities/ H.S.C. board, Rs. 320/- out of Maharashtra State University / HSC Board.

Admission Process:

Login with your email id and password (given at the time of registration)
Click on admission -> new application
Select the program and year
Read the instructions provided.
Read the eligibility criteria
Click on accept if you have cleared the eligibility criteria exam
Click on continue button.
Answer the questions asked
Data will be fetched from previous year data
Fill up the form.
Read the declaration, click on “I Accept” and click on continue.
Upload the photo. Maximum size allowed is 100 KB and file format should be JPG.
Click on signature template and download the template. Take the Printout of this Page, sign in the box provided, scan it, crop it along the dotted lines and save as .jpg format.
Upload the signature template.
NOTE: Please ensure your signature is visible in the admission form.

Payment Process:

In case of eligibility, approval is required for the issue of eligibility certificate.
After approval is obtained and SMS/Email will be received
Applicant can then proceed for payment through online payment gateway or Bank of Maharashtra Challan
In all other cases, applicant can proceed for payment directly and can download the required documents.
Note:
In TC case, students need to take out the print of TC form and submit the same to the same to their colleges. Colleges can then send TC to IDOL directly.
No hard copy of admission forms need to be submitted to IDOL or any admission centre.

How to Apply:

Admission is made online for all programmes, details of which are available on the website: www.mu.ac.in/idol OR www.mahaonline.gov.in
Students are informed to check their eligibility of the course and other information from the prospectus available on: www.mu.ac.in/idol
Online payment through Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking and Bank Challan from any branch of Bank of Maharashtra is accepted.
Dates for admission to First Year MCA will be announced after the declaration of results of the Entrance Test conducted by IDOL.
Students of other than University of Mumbai/ CBSE/NIOS / other State Boards should obtain Eligibility Certificate through online from this website www.mahaonline.gov.in
Students applying for Scholarship/ Free ship should apply through the Website of Department of Social Justice & Special Assistance https://mahaeschol.maharashtra.gov.in

Important Dates:

Admission starts from (without late fee): 28th June, 2013 to 27th July, 2013

Admission starts from (With Late Fees of Rs. 150/-): 01st August, 2013 to 16th August, 2013
