Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs Admission 2013
Applications are invited for admission to the following UG and PG Programs and Approved by AICTE and Affiliated to ICFAI University, Tripura
The Admission Modalities are with reference to the full-time MBA/MA (Education)/MCA/BBA/BCA/B.Ed programs offered by the ICFAI University Tripura
Medium Instruction: English only
Eligibility Criteria:
MBA: Graduation in any discipline with 45% and above aggregate marks
MA (Education): Pass in Graduation in any discipline
MCA: Any Graduate having 45% marks in Graduation with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at graduation
BBA: Pass in 10+2 with aggregate of 40% and above (any discipline)
BCA: Pass in 10+2 / Intermediate with aggregate 40% and above in mathematics or commerce as one of the major subjects
B.Ed: Graduate in any discipline with 50% (45% for SC / ST candidates) and above aggregate marks
Final year students in respective qualifying examinations awaiting results can also apply
Final Year students who have not received the original certificates from the Universities/Boards by16th July 2013 will be admitted provisionally
Their admission will be confirmed subject to their passing the qualifying examination and obtaining minimum required marks mentioned above
The registration of the candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria by 01st October, 2013 will be cancelled and full fee excluding admission fee will be refunded
Admission Criteria:
The selection of applicants for all programs is made through application and interview
While evaluating students for admission, due weightage is given to academic distinction, awards in sports/cultural events, debates, quizzes and other extra co curricular activities
Interview:
The applicants will have to go through a personal interview at the campus; this is to determine the student’s attitude and motivation to pursue the program
Original certificates and Domicile certificate should be produced for verification at the time of interview
The original certificates will be returned after verification; the admission decision will be communicated after the interview process
All the selected students will be required to pay the admission fee at the time of the interview
Reservation:
There shall be a special provision for admission of students belonging to the State of Tripura in any course of ICFAI University, Tripura or in a constituent college, affiliated college, regional centre or study centre within the State of Tripura, which shall not be less than 25 (twenty-five) percent of seats in each course/discipline subject to the students meeting the minimum qualifying requirements referred to above
Seats remaining unfilled under special reservation may be filled up by allotting the same to students belonging to Open Category

Please make sure that you meet the eligibility criteria before filling up the form
Fill the Application Form in CAPITAL LETTERS
Provide all available information under appropriate sections
Make sure to sign the Application Form
Retain a photocopy of the completed application form
Attested Copies of Certificates Students have to enclose attested copies of the following certificates (Attestation should be done by any Gazetted Officer/Principal of the College)
Date of Birth Certificate /Class X Certificate
Marks sheets of Class XII/ Degree certificate (as may be applicable)
Domicile Certificate
Any other certificates pertaining to academic and other activities

Admission Fee: Admission Fee of Rs. 10,000/- is to be paid by all the selected candidates immediately after the admission decision is announced
