Applicants are invited for the post of women police constable in the union territory of Puducherry. The details are given below:

Hiring Process:- Written Test
Total no. of Posts:- 100 posts
Age Limit:- Between 18 to 22 Years as on 30^th November 2014.
Qualification:- candidates should pass in 10 + 2 or its equivalent.
Selection Procedure:- Selection will be on the based on physical test, written test and medical fitness.
Age Relaxation:- The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to MBC/ OBC/ EBC/ BCM/ BT communities.
How to apply:- the applicants should apply through online in the official website www.police.pondicherry.gov.in on or before 24^th December 2014 (5:45 PM) and send the copy of the online generated application along with self-attested copies of the relevant documents as per mentioned in in the enclosure in the application are to be reached to the superintendent f Police (HQ), No.2, Dumas Street, Puducherry on or before 31^st December 214 (5:45 PM) by registered post with acknowledgement due duly super scribing on the cover as “Application for recruitment to the post of women police constable”.
